📉 Limiti e regole
Per evitare che l’euro digitale sottragga troppa liquidità alle banche tradizionali, la BCE sta studiando un tetto massimo di euro digitali detenibili da ogni cittadino.
- Il limite ipotizzato è di alcune migliaia di euro per persona (es. 3.000 euro).
- Se si supera il limite, l’eccesso potrebbe essere trasferito automaticamente sul conto bancario tradizionale.
- L’obiettivo è mantenere l’equilibrio del sistema finanziario ed evitare fughe di massa dai depositi bancari.
Queste regole serviranno anche a chiarire che l’euro digitale non è uno strumento di investimento, ma un mezzo di pagamento.
