Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Ragazzi, siamo arrivati alla fine di un anno… come dire… “particolare”. Prima di salutarvi, vorrei fare un punto con voi, non come professoressa, ma come alleata. Luca: “Particolare” è un eufemismo, prof. È stato un terremoto. Ma alla fine, qualche muro è rimasto in piedi. Sofia: Io a settembre non volevo neanche entrare in questa aula. Mi sembrava un’ammissione di sconfitta.
Prof.ssa Rinaldi: E invece è diventata il nostro quartier generale. Qui abbiamo ancorato le navi quando c’era la tempesta. La sfida per il nuovo anno è ancorare i progressi. Fissarli nella roccia. Luca: I progressi? A volte sembrano di ghiaccio. Un giorno di caldo e si sciolgono. Un mal di gola e… puff, torna la nebbia in testa.
Prof.ssa Rinaldi: È vero, Luca. La PANS è infida così. Per questo non parlo di costruire torri, ma di scavare solchi. Voi avete sviluppato competenze che gli altri nemmeno immaginano. Sofia: Tipo? A parte l’essere campioni nel nascondere l’ansia?
Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Tipo, Sofia, la tua capacità di osservazione iper-sviluppata. Tu sai leggere lo stato d’animo di una stanza in due secondi. È stancante, lo so. Ma è un’abilità da regista. E tu, Luca, hai una resistenza mentale che a 13 anni è da veterano. Rialzarsi dopo essere stato spazzato via cento volte: queste non sono debolezze. Sono superpoteri conquistati nel fuoco. Luca: Superpoteri che vorrei restituire per avere una vita normale.
Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Lo so. E la normalità è il nostro obiettivo. Ma la normalità di prima non esiste più. Dobbiamo costruire una nuova normalità: trasformare la resistenza in resilienza. L’iper-osservazione in intelligenza emotiva. La pazienza forzata in saggezza. Sofia: Come si fa? Con i compiti delle vacanze?
Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Con un patto. Il mio compito è continuare a creare a scuola un porto sicuro. Il vostro compito è identificare un’ancora ciascuno. Luca: Un’ancora? Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Una cosa piccola, solida, che sapete di poter fare anche nei giorni grigi. Un micro-rituale che dica al cervello: “io sono ancora qui, e so come prendermi cura di me”.
Sofia: Quindi… non è vincere la guerra. È imparare a presidiare il territorio che abbiamo riconquistato. Prof.ssa Rinaldi: Esattamente. Presidiare, coltivare, rendere abitabile. Il nuovo anno non sarà la fine della battaglia, ma l’inizio della ricostruzione. E voi avete la mappa del vostro territorio interiore. Luca: Una mappa piena di zone d’ombra e di vulcani. Ma è la mia. Prof.ssa Rinaldi: È la vostra. E ora sapete che non la state disegnando da soli. La scuola, la vostra famiglia, io… siamo la vostra squadra di cartografi. Buone vacanze, esploratori. A gennaio, si torna a disegnare la mappa.
